Alan Trumps the DMV After Years of Botched Attempts

On a lighter note, here’s an example of doing whatever it takes to make your dreams happen. Read the signature on my driver’s license under my mug shot. (click on the photo for a larger view. See it? Alan…L…Brymer…is cool!

This took me YEARS to pull off but victory is finally mine. I tried back in ‘03 and again in ‘04 and got caught red-handed by the DMV counter lady. She even called a few of her friends over to show them and laugh at me.

But not this time! I owe it to my wife, who caused a distraction at just the right time after I was done signing my name. Clearly, it does take two to make a thing go right. I can’t take credit for the idea, though, just the implementation. To cite my sources, I name Luke Brown from Fredericksburg, VA, who showed us all how to live. Rest in peace, Luke.
